Dog owners can kick start their Sunday mornings at Fairchild Botanic Garden. Thanks to their Dog Date Strolls which happens every Sunday morning from 8 to 10 a.m.

The weekly event lets dog owners explore the gardens with their best friend. Water bowls, treats and pup waste baskets can be found near the Glasshouse cafe which is open and serving light breakfast options like spinach empanadas and coffee.

Elmo and I headed back for our second time.

We came the first in April and I must say, coming in Fall now was much cooler and pleasurable. Elmo is a Pug so I have to be careful with the heat. As backup, I brought a doggy stroller, but an hour and half of walking and he didn’t need it.

It was and it was a wonderful way to kick start our morning in nature, meeting other pups and getting in some necessary exercise. Nature is known to detox the mind, body and spirit as well create calm and grounding so indeed all attendees come out feeling their best. Check out more HERE
